Name: Hollis Starks (Above: Hollis dances the night away in one of her many customized Rungolee pieces).

Profession/Hobbies: Wedding and Special Events Planner/ Designer by profession. I have a husband, two sons and two dogs all of whom I adore. For fun, I like to travel, I like to shop and I am a passionate collector of vintage linens, silver and tableware which I use at many of my events.

Describe your style in three words. Eclectic, Bold and Crisp

What are you wearing today? My winter uniform – a Rungolee tunic, pashmina  and black leggings with ballet shoes.

What has been your most influential style inspiration? I have been influenced by women whose theories regarding style and fashion are relevant to today such as Diana Vreeland, Coco Chanel and Mary Quant. My travels have impacted my style because I love to shop for clothing and accessories in other cities and abroad.  I admire the fashion style of Audrey Hepburn and Ines De La Fressange.

How does Rungolee fit into your current wardrobe and what aspect of the line speaks best to your aesthetic? I wear Rungolee pieces often. I love the fabrics, the shapes and trims that Anjali uses. The clothes work well with my jewelry – great sleeves, cuffs and necklines. Anjali makes special tunics for me to wear when I work at weddings – functional, glamourous pieces that are appropriate work pieces at a formal event.

If you happen to be in the Louisville area February 25 & 26 join us here to snag a few of your own Rungolee pieces.
